2018 GMC Terrain, a great drive at the push of a button

The feel of a gear shift in your hand may be a thing of the past as GMC introduces its Electronic Precision Shift (EPS). The EPS replaces the standard column mounted gear shift in the 2018 GMC Terrain with buttons and switches for operation. Push P for park, N for neutral or L for low. Pull on the R switch for reverse or the D switch to drive.

All this technology comes with safety checks in place to make sure if you're driving down the highway and someone inadvertently hit the R button, the transmission will not shift into reverse. GMC engineers feel the learning curve for the EPS systems is a short one as consumers seem to be picking up its operation in test drives.

The center console now has a more open feel and there is more room for storage. And while it may take a while to get used to, in no time you will feel right at home.

At David Westcott Buick GMC, our staff is waiting to show you 2018 Terrain and arrange a test drive. We are located at 2410 S. Church Street Burlington, NC.
