Trim Levels
The new GMC Sierra 1500 is available in eight trims: Pro, SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4, Denali, AT4X and Denali Ultimate.
Powertrains
The new truck has a 2.7-liter turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and makes 310 horsepower. The 6.2-liter V8 engine makes 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The 5.3-liter V8 churns out 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Finally, there is a 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline six-cylinder engine that makes 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The GMC Sierra 1500 is equipped with standard Off-road-tuned Rancho® monotube shock absorbers, providing superior damping force for a smooth ride and better off-road handling. The shock absorbers feature self-adjusting valves that automatically adjust to changing road conditions, delivering a responsive performance and exceptionally tight cornering.
You can expect maximum grip and traction in off-road conditions with the standard Goodyear® Wrangler™ tires. These mud-terrain tires feature aggressive tread blocks designed to tackle any surface around Graham, NC. The automatic locking rear differential helps to optimize traction on poor road surfaces by minimizing wheel spin.
Use the available Traction Select System to dial in the performance you need for optimal traction and stability. Available modes include Tour, Sport, Terrain, Snow, Tow/Haul and Off Road.

The new Sierra 1500 offers a range of high-quality interior design options. The Denali Ultimate and the AT4X trims have custom full-grain leather seating with striking black accents. The Denali Ultimate trim has chrome accents and open-pore walnut wood detailing throughout the cabin, giving it a premium look and feel.
The available memory system can save driver seat configurations, making it easier to get it just right after someone else drives the truck. The Denali has a leather-wrapped steering wheel that is heated to keep your hands warm when the colder months arrive around Carrboro. The front occupants can adjust the AT4X's seats to their exact preference with its 16-way power adjustment features. The AT4 has rear floor liners with carpeted surfaces to protect against dirt. The seats are heated and have a ventilation system to keep you comfortable when the cabin gets hot.

The new truck has an available Google built-in infotainment system and is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
Safety
The GMC Sierra 1500's forward collision warning system is coupled with the automatic emergency braking system. The truck has a standard lane-keep assist system and a lane-departure warning system.
