We are seeking a qualified auto body technician able to work on all makes & models of vehicles, repairing them to industry/manufacturing standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment, and is able to work efficiently according to the assigned work order timeline.
This job is not usually open - we are proud to have low staff turnover at our Burlington auto body shop. Our estimators work hard to get you the time your deserve to do the job right. We have a lot of steady work and we need you on our Burlington, NC team!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Work on all make and models
- Be able to do heavy hits and work with frame machine
- Work on more than one vehicle at a time
- Carefully examine and blueprint repairs
- Estimate with accuracy
- Maintain a clean & organized work area
- Submit quality repairs & maintain communication with Paint department
- Organize & work with Certified Parts
Qualifications and Skills
- Required: Body shop experience, frame experience
- Required: Valid Driver's License
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- I-Car Gold Certified Shop - Existing certification a plus, or David Westcott will pay for your certifications
- GM Training a plus
Compensation:Â Full-time; $65,000-$90,000 per year (based on experience, certifications etc.)
