Starting you out with a standard gas-powered 6.6-liter V8 engine, the Sierra 2500 HD pairs this engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. You can choose it either in rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive depending on you. You can also choose the Duramax diesel 6.6-liter V8, which cranks out 470 horsepower. If you regularly haul heavy-duty loads, you would probably want the Duramax because it can tow heavier loads. You can tow up 22,500 pounds if you pair it with the right engine. For the payload capacity, when you equip it right, you can haul up to 4,064 pounds.
Safety
You can equip the GMC Sierra 2500 HD with a host of driver-assistance technology to make your ride safer. Along with that, you can take advantage of a comprehensive camera system that gives you up to 15 different viewing modes.
